Due to internal progression, we’re looking for a Receptionist & Administrative Officer to join us in Exeter city centre and deliver a high-quality service to our commercial clients and patients.

Your Role 

As a Receptionist & Administrative Officer, you’ll be tasked with providing an efficient reception service for patients for audiology appointments. 

Specifically, you will greet patients, handle telephone enquiries, organise bookings, alter appointments and ensure patients wait in the correct order to be seen. 

Your role will also involve: 

- Acting as the public face of the Audiology Departments 
- Directing patients from other departments to the right area 
- Dealing with a variety of patient calls including those from dissatisfied patients 
- Assisting the Admin Services Manager and Audiologists 

About You 

To be considered as a Receptionist & Administrative Officer, you will need: 

- At a minimum, GCSEs in English & Maths at grade A* - C (or equivalent) 
- Strong, professional communication skills 
- The ability to work as part of a team 
- A flexible approach to work 

Ideally, you will have experience gained in a reception or front-of-house environment, but this isn't essential.

Please note, this is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week 8am – 6pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
