Independent Financial Adviser - International

Our client is a prestigious, international Financial Services organisation, based in the North West, operating as a group of individual, specialist companies. The Group has been established for over 30 years, throughout which time it has grown organically & via acquisition. The company provides financial planning advice in the UK for private clients, companies & their employees & for ex-pats living abroad. Its Head Office is in the North West of England, with other offices elsewhere in Europe, Australia, South Africa & USA.

The Financial Planning division acts for a number of well known international Actuarial and Pension Trustee firms & is now seeking to appoint 2 Pension Transfer specialists, who will visit former UK pension member clients in their countries of residence, ranging from USA to Europe, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, UAE etc., advising them in respect of enhanced transfer value offers being made available to them. You will attend 10-15 client meetings per month, conducting fact-finds & completing and presenting subsequent reports and recommendations on the viability of the proposed transfer offer, whilst at the same time looking for other financial planning opportunities.

Key qualifications, skills & experience required:

• Diploma or Chartered Adviser
• G60 or AF3 or AF7
• Excellent Suitability Report writing skills & experience
• Articulate, with excellent communication, presentation & relationship management skills
• Strong organisational skills
• Highly motivated, determined & ambitious
• Have the freedom & desire to travel the world
