Co-Founder - Hardware Design Engineer - London - Equity - (15 hours)
A rare opportunity to become a co-founder, and part-owner, of a UK-based tech-startup. This is a great opportunity to join an IoT action sports platform.
Required
* Embedded electronics hardware expert who has RF design experience.
* Minimum 5 years in hardware engineering dealing with micro electronics & PCB assemblies.
* Design & test of production-ready IoT device hardware.
* Produce designs that meets RF performance requirements.
* Produce designs that meet EU/US regulations and compliance standards.
* Perform all relevant electrical, PCB, RF and pre-compliance testing.
* Exposure to & ability to manage small scale PCB assembly manufacture.
Typical activity
* Design, test and implementation of architecture and features which lead us to a reliable and cost effective MVP.
* Provide guidance and research best practices.
* Collaborate over phone calls and remote screen-sharing sessions to share updates and work together on various elements of the project.
* Meet in-person at least once a month to conduct prototype testing and team meetings.
Expectations
* A certain percentage of company shares will be distributed to you at certain milestones in the project. The exact percentages will be agreed based on your skill and level of commitment to the business.
* You have to be able to commit a minimum of 15 hours per week to the business
