Are you an ambitious, diligent and hardworking individual? Are you interested in working within an organisation that is committed to providing an exceptional and integral service to the communities of Lincolnshire where you can make a difference? If so, Lincolnshire County Council has the role for you.

Adult social workers are here to provide support and guidance to enable people to help themselves and, where that is not possible, to ensure they are supported to achieve their individual outcomes.

We have a variety of vacancies across the County - to be discussed at interview or call to discuss.

About the role:

Lincolnshire County Council is committed to the principles of choice, independence and personalisation. The successful candidate will be committed to taking on the challenges and opportunities created by the Care Act to support people to have increased choice and control in the way they organise their social care support. You will support people to develop links within their own community, looking at creative and strengths based solutions and will be committed to supporting effective multi-agency working with partner organisations.

If you have an enquiring mind and are committed to the promotion of wellbeing and safeguarding of adults at risk then this would be a great opportunity for you.

The duties and responsibilities of this post require you to be able to work your contracted hours over the 7 days of the week, including evening work, in order to meet the needs of the service. Please note that, in accordance with the Council's conditions of service, enhanced hours payments will not be made for any weekend working you undertake as these form part of your normal working week.

About you:

The post holder must hold a professional social work qualification e.g. DIPSW, CQSW, CCETSW, CSS or BA Social Work and HCPC Registration.

Do you have great interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills? Do you have analytical assessment skills and experience of managing challenging and complex situations?  We are looking for someone with knowledge of, legislation and experience of social care assessment practice.  Do you want to use your skills and knowledge in a more creative and innovative way?  Then you may be who we are looking for and we would love to hear from you.
