Job Title: Assembly Technician
Location: Mansfield, Nottinghamshire
Salary: GBP8.00ph Basic Days
Start Date: Mid February 2019
Contract Length: Ongoing

Purpose
• Full training given
To assemble and test electronic equipment in line with build specification and engineering drawings to a high quality and within the standard build times defined to meet agreed deadlines for production (WIP) schedule. Ensure high standards of right first time, build efficiency and service level are consistently achieved. Provide fast resolution to any assembly issues identified and ensure good levels of communication with Manufacturing Team.
Key accountabilities
•Responsibility for assembly and testing of electronic equipment on-time and to the correct specification and quality standards.
•Provide positive support to team members as required.
•To adhere to UK Health and Safety Regulations and safe working practices.
•To make positive contribution to continuous improvement activities.
•To adhere to all deadlines and targets set by Assembly Team Leader.
•Establish good working relationship with the assembly team and key members of Manufacturing.
The right Candidate
Essential:
- Good working attitude
- Good Time management
- Communication
- Problem solving skills
Desirable:
- Previous wiring/ crimping experience
- Ability to read Engineering drawings
- Comfortable using various hand tools, mainly crimp tools
- Good Technical Ability
