We are a firm of Chartered Accountants based in Harrow, NW London.  The firm currently employs around 20 staff, including qualified accountants and tax professionals, trainee accountants and administrative and secretarial support staff.  The directors of the firm have been recruited from within its own ranks and the present directors represent the third and fourth generations since the original practice was formed in the 1920s.


We’re looking for someone to join our Support Staff on a part-time basis, working Thursday and Friday 9am – 5.30pm.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Answering telephone calls and directing them or taking messages as necessary
  • Handling and organizing incoming and outgoing post
  • Receiving visitors
  • Typing of letters
  • General office filing
  • Raising sales invoices
  • Companies House filings and other Company Secretarial matters
  • Sending out marketing materials using mail merge

Required skills and experience:

  • Accurate and fast typing skills, including audio typing
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • MS Office skills in Word and Excel
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
  • Experience in a similar sector is advantageous but not necessary as training will be provided
  • Willingness to learn
  • Team player
