DT Teacher

Secondary school on the outskirts of Blackpool seeking a DT Teacher to start immediately until May 2019.

Your new company
This secondary school is based on the outskirts of Blackpool and due to recent changes within their DT department, they have approached Hays seeking a DT Teacher to start on an immediate basis to continue through until May 2019. This is a very welcoming school whereby you would be working in a supportive department, as well as receiving support from SLT throughout the contract. Due to the location of this school, it is easily accessible from most areas across the North West.

Your new role
Joining the school immediately you will be responsible for teaching Design Technology across KS3 and KS4, as well as ideally Food Technology at KS3. As this is a long term role, you will be responsible for full planning and preparation of lessons, marking and assessment of pupils work and also attendance at parents evenings and additional school functions.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status and have experienced teaching DT to KS4, as well as ideally teaching Food Technology at KS3. You must be available to start immediately, as well as continue through until May 2019.
