Emergency Care Assistants
New Year, New Opportunities.
Don’t let them pass you by…
The South Western Ambulance Service currently have new opportunities for Emergency Care Assistants (ECA) across the South West.
ECAs provide crucial support to a team of qualified Paramedics and enable the delivery of superior clinical and personal care.
Using advanced driving skills, you will provide support to our dedicated Paramedics attending accidents and sudden illnesses. If you want to make the most of your skills in a challenging but extremely rewarding environment – and are willing to work shifts – this could be your calling.
To succeed, you will need a full, clean driving licence, including C1 category, a minimum of Maths and English GCSEs at grades A–C or a level 2 functional skills certificate, or demonstrable previous experience.
Previous clinical experience isn’t essential, as successful candidates will receive clinical and driver training. To find out more on the opportunities available, please click apply.
