Export Coordinator for Commercial Logistics Company

INTRODUCTION

OSR are currently recruiting on behalf of a Well-established Global Logistics Company in Chelmsford, Essex, who are looking for an Export Coordinator to join their experienced team.

THE COMPANY

Large privately owned Global Logistics Company.

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the export process from start to finish.
• Using appropriate methods to maintain effective working relationships with key customers.
• Liaise with customers ensuring to obtain correct measures are in place and needs are met.
• Liaise with Custom and Operations departments ensuring all documents and received within the given time frame.
• Ensure customers are kept up to date with progress of their shipments.
• Have the ability to liaise with suppliers, forwarders and agents to maintain up to date shipment information.
• Provide relevant information for transport companies to ensure customer delivery.
• Cover the import operations as and when required.
• Be flexible with any other duties required by management to ensure a smooth and efficient process..

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience within a similar role.
• Knowledge of logistics systems and the import/export process.
• Full clean UK Driving Licence.
• Flexible with covering different duties as business requirements.
