Examinations and Assessment Assistant
Grade 5 £16781 - £17772 (Pro rata £13977 - £14802)
30 Hours per week, term time only
From October 2017
We are looking for an hard working individual with excellent attention to detail and an interest in data to join our Examinations and Assessment team. Our examinations team run exams throughout the year including public examinations such as GCSEs and A Levels as well as internal exams and progress tests. The same team also supports the progress of students across the school by processing data for leaders and teachers and providing support in analysis at all levels. Our Examinations and Data Manager has worked in the team for several years and we are looking for someone who can support in all aspects of the work of the Examinations and Data office.
The ideal candidate will be able to work accurately and have an excellent eye for detail. They will enjoy working with a range of computer programs, including spreadsheets and be able to solve problems. Good levels of literacy and numeracy will also be required, as will the ability to work as part of a team and communicate with a range of staff and students across the school.
The School is situated just outside the City of Oxford, and is a vibrant and supportive school with a track record of improvement and innovation in recent years. In June 2016 the school was graded “Good’ by Ofsted, with much positive feedback. We are a Google Reference School with creative and innovative practice in the use of computers and IT in the classroom. All students have access to their own personal chromebook in order to support their learning.
We have a mixed rural and urban intake and we are well supported by our community, who recognise the considerable improvements that have taken place in recent years. Our students are happy at school and motivated to succeed, and our staff work well together, providing a collaborative and professional ethos.
