Job Description LOCATION: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
JOB TITLE: Service Assistant (Engineering Showroom)
SALARY & BENEFITS: Competitive salary depending on experience
WORKING HOURS: Approx. 40 hours per week -8AM-4PM Monday to Friday
THE COMPANY: Our client, established in 1970, is a family run company that import, sell, install and commission high quality, reliable and affordable CNC machinery for both metal cutting and fabrication purposes.
THE ROLE: Service Assistant (Engineering Showroom)- Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Assistant. The purpose of the position is to receive machinery and goods and prepare them to a high standard, for demonstration and delivery as part of the Service Team. The role also offers direct contact with customers and suppliers supporting the sale of spare parts and tooling within the Service Team.
You will complete all paperwork in an accurate and timely manner using our windows based systems.

Receiving Machines & Goods
Pre-Delivery Inspections
Documenting Goods Movement
Direct Spare parts and tooling sales
Assisting our team of Service Engineers
THE CANDIDATE: Service Assistant (Engineering Showroom)- Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
The successful candidate will have a mechanical aptitude and some knowledge of machines tools or Fabrication. You will have a smart and professional appearance and have the ability to communicate with customers on all levels, whilst working under pressure in this physical role. You will be trustworthy, reliable, self motivated, be able to use your initiative and have a passion to learn new skills to expand on your current knowledge.
Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the role:-
Previous experience in a customer facing/customer service role essential
Apprentice trained/ or degree in a relevant discipline desirable
GCSE's in English and Maths grade C (or equivalent)
Competent IT user (Microsoft Office)
