Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Salary: £21,000 - £25,000 plus vehicle and tools

Position: Full Time, Permanent

A vacancy has arisen for a Made To Measure Curtain & Blinds Fitter.

This is a bespoke service the company offers their customers for their custom made curtains, blinds and accessory products. The company's Fitters are not only skilled in fitting curtains and blinds across a variety of windows; they are passionate about transforming customers' homes with their products. They love being part of the store team and play a massive part in helping the company deliver a high quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

• To fit bespoke made to measure curtains, blinds, window dressings and associated accessories i.e. tiebacks in our customers' home.
• Provide a 'Check Measure' service to our customer's before orders are placed to ensure correct measurements.
• To provide an excellent level of customer service.
• Greeting Customer's in their homes in a professional and friendly manner.
• Working as a team with the Sales Consultants and Store Manager to ensure all customer appointments are delivered on time and any outstanding actions are followed up and delivered within agreed timescales.
• Communicate with both the customer and store team teams to clearly explain technical challenges in a way they will understand.
• This role will require flexibility with working hours covering days, evenings & weekends over 40hrs.

The Candidate:

• Full UK driving license (Work van and tools will be provided).
• Previous experience of working with power tools and variety of 'fixing' materials.
• Good sound working knowledge of Health & Safety.
• Previous experience of fitting domestic products in the customers' home (any type of background will be considered).
• Be able to work alone but also be able to work well with the Sales Consultant and wider store team as required.
• Ability to plan and manage time effectively.
• Flexibility in working hours to cover appointments.

Desirable Attributes:

• Previous experience of fitting blinds, curtains or window dressings in customers' homes.
• Passion for fabrics, interior design or similar field.
• Ability to hang and dress curtains in a wide variety of windows including bay.
• Ability to accurately measure final sizes for curtains, blinds, tracks etc.
