I am currently recruiting for an experienced Talent & Development Specialist on a fixed term client to join my Telford based client, supporting a site of approximately 1100 people.
My client is a global manufacturing business, with a high profile client base and over 150,000 employees around the world.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of HR, this role will have a strong focus on talent and succession planning, working closely with managers in the business to look at their workforce planning, identify potential risks, high potentials and benchmarking their skills and capability. You will also support the launch of the Skills Promotion Centre, to support employees' development of technical skills. They have a number of key projects over the next 12 months including Investors in People and moving from ISO to IATF.
Key Experience/ Skills
- An experienced HR professional, with a strength in Talent & Succession
- Experience of working within a blue collar industry - manufacturing/ logistics/ engineering
- Comfortable in working in a fast-paced environment
- CIPD qualified or equivalent
- Previous experience in managing accreditation processes (IIP, ISO/ IATF)
This role is being offered on a fixed term contract, with a salary of GBP30,000 - GBP25,000 per annum, although there may be some negotiation for the right person
Alongside this, there is free parking, a newly refurbished environment, 23 days annual leave, rising with length of service, as well as pension and life assurance
