Reporting to the Engineering Safety Manager, the Engineering Safety Analyst is responsible for supporting the continuous development of the Engineering and Maintenance elements of the Safety Management System (SMS).
You will investigate engineering related incidents as they occur as well as carrying out Risk Assessment of hazards and incidents. You will support and promote the anonymous and confidential reporting facility, detecting recurring defects and developing trends through continual analysis. In addition, the Engineering Safety Analyst will work with the Safety Team to arrange and deliver new and recurrent training in Risk Assessment and Safety Reporting to all Engineers.
The successful candidate will ideally have a formal qualification in Aviation Engineering, with experience of maintenance procedures, and have a logical, questioning and thorough approach to work. The Engineering Safety Analyst will have strong IT skills, particularly in MS Excel, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports.
