Relief Mobile Response/Control Centre Operator

Salary - £22,373 per annum + 13% shift allowance - guaranteed 19 shifts per month
(Benefits include company pension scheme)

This will involve covering shifts as and when required (normally at short notice). The shifts are 7.30 am - 3.30 pm, 3.30 pm - 11.30 pm, 11.30 pm - 7.30 am and will include weekends.

Working in a rewarding role providing a valuable service to the local community, we are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and flexible individual, who is empathetic, organised, diplomatic and committed to delivering the highest standards of customer care.

• Working as part of a small dedicated and caring team, you will be responsible for communicating with older/ vulnerable clients through a telecommunication system and undertaking routine and emergency visits.
• You will be calm, logical and respond quickly in a crisis.
• You will have effective communication skills together with an understanding of the needs of older and vulnerable people.
• Knowledge of Burton and surrounding areas and the ability to use a PC is essential. Full clean driving licence is required.
• Training, including First Aid will be provided.
