• Employer Brand Marketing & Performance Manager o Swindon, Northampton, London, Sheffield or Dunfermline o Home working 1-2 days per week on average is an option o If the successful candidate is not based in Swindon, then frequent travel to our Head Office will be set as an expectation up front • GBP50,337 -GBP72,709 a year• Competitive benefits package including company car or allowance GBP4,656 • 12-month Fixed Term Contract, full, part time and job share applications welcomed Leading our Employer Brand Marketing & Performance team this role is accountable for our strategic approach to attraction, optimising our channels to engage the right candidates for Nationwide. This role is responsible for the Performance of our award-winning Resourcing function through reporting on the effectiveness of our channels through to the success of our hires. You'll be responsible for building a positive candidate experience, from attraction through to on-boarding, monitoring key performance metrics including our NPS score and overseeing a programme of targeted recruitment campaigns. You'll help to evolve our Employer Brand strategy, ensuring alignment to our Consumer Brand, drive innovation and always ensure a return on investment.

Who we're looking for

You'll be an employer brand expert, with a head for numbers. It's not just about how something looks, it's all about what it actually delivers in terms of applicants and even better, hires. We're a heavily data driven team so you'll need to be able to generate insight and trends and come up with creative ways to attract and engage potential candidates. You'll be an experienced leader with a proven track record of building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and with the versatility to be creative and logical in your approach. As a minimum, you'll have: • Significant and proven experience in employer brand marketing with a background in innovative and creative delivery • Experience of leading the design, project management, implementation and on-going management of tools and techniques to attract the best candidates • Experience of researching, assessing options and introducing attraction tools such as "Apps" and portals for candidates to apply for roles delivering results and evaluating business benefits through to the creation of business cases • Extensive experience at using data to provide insight. • Comprehensive understanding of digital channels available for attraction and external market trends • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build effective working relationships internally and externally • Excellent influencing skills and a proven ability to build strong cross divisional relationships with senior stakeholders • Strong leadership capability • Technical experience of online marketing techniques including Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) It would be nice if you also had: • A degree in marketing • Experience at working in an FS organisation • Experience of working in Resourcing

What you'll be doing

It's a fast paced and challenging role, the team recruit for between 5000 - 6000 vacancies per year, and you'll be looking after the shop window. You'll have a demand plan, which will predict the number and type of hires we'll be making over the year to support you, but you'll have to work out how to most effectively attract the right people in line with our Target attraction model. Managing a small but specialist team, this role is the driving force behind the Nationwide Employer Brand. There is always a lot of activity going on across the whole Resourcing function and it will be part of your role to promote our activity externally through conference presentations and industry award submissions. The attraction landscape is ever changing, so you'll need to keep ahead of this curve, and spot the next opportunity to speak to specific audiences. We work with some industry leading technology to help manage candidate flow and talent pools. The careers site is entirely owned and fully managed by the Employer Brand Marketing & Performance Team, meaning you can create content quickly and easily. You'll work across the entire organisation helping them to attract the right people into their community, you'll also be accountable for contributing to the Digital workplace agenda, providing specialist knowledge of innovative and effective attraction methods. You'll also be: • Responsible for the Nationwide Resourcing Brand, Tone of Voice and alignment with the Nationwide consumer brand • Promoting the most effective resourcing attraction methods, optimising our channels and tracking return on investment. • Managing strategic relationships with the 3rd party suppliers to support with the provision of brand and attraction activities • Making sure that attraction channels are aligned to the overall resourcing agenda and demand planning • Working with key stakeholders as the SME for Resourcing brand, attraction, social, media and technology • Building relationships with other organisations to enable effective brand and attraction benchmarking/innovation to take place and represent the Resourcing Team at external events. • Responsible for building, developing and delivering the Resourcing performance management framework and requirements for the Resourcing function. • Accountable for the overall production of resourcing MI and reporting for entire function
