The Company and the Role:
The Company is an independently owned Hampshire based hospitality Group which comprises some of Hampshire's well known independent restaurants, bars and boutique hotels.
Within one of the Company's water front restaurants and bars on the South Coast near to Southampton they are seeking an Interim Chef de Partie.
The position is full time with a contract running until October 2017 with the potential for permanent employment and salary review.
Born from a unique and prestigious heritage of a leading independent leisure group in Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire, each venue has a reputation for using the best fresh and local ingredients, using carefully sourced suppliers. This restaurant and bar is set in superb surroundings and has its own unique marina food concept.

Together as a team it's your job to ensure that the customer's expectations are met and exceeded every time they visit.
The Company is seeking an ambitious and committed individual with a passion for good food who is ready to continue developing their career in a growing hospitality group.
You will be a great team player with good organisational skills with the ability to thrive in a very busy bar and restaurant, where the Company's reputation for consistently preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to the right quality, is second to none.
You will be a valued member of the team assisting the Sous Chef and Head Chef to produce the best quality results for every customer's culinary experience, emulating the highest standards of food quality and consistency.
This is a very busy working environment, and as well as having high standards and demonstrating good attention to detail.
You'll be part of a team who helps influence effective kitchen controls and to achieve good gross profit, efficient ordering and stock control as well as driving excellent standards of health and hygiene.

Knowledge and Skills:
You should be an accomplished Demi CPD or Chef De Partie with experience of working in a fresh food kitchen at a similar level.
You should possess ambition to continually push yourself to move up to the next career level.
Your practical experience should ideally be supported by some form of catering qualification.
You should have a passion for producing the perfect dish every time, having a desire to aim for high standards.
Previous experience in a similar role requiring a broad food knowledge and precise attention to detail is essential, with fresh, quality food and someone who can thrive under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
You will be an excellent team player and leader who can respectfully communicate to the team.

Standard 48 hour working week 5 days on, 2 days off. Flexible shift patterns. GBP8.50 per hour plus tips.
