Key responsibilities of the Senior Embedded Software Engineer - Linux job:
*Development of embedded payment and POS applications
*Definition, implementation and verification of new features and enhancements (including software development for new products)
*Providing technical support to integrating partners to ensure their end to end payment solution works well and has a short time to market
*Maintenance and enhancement of exiting software test frameworks and automated software test facilities
*Maintenance and enhancement of internal and external support documentation.
Key skills required for the Senior Embedded Software Engineer - Linux job:
*Excellent C/C++ programming experience in a UNIX environment
*Good understanding of Linux and embedded Linux systems
Skills that would be beneficial:
*Understanding of Java and Java VMs
*Knowledge of payment systems and architecture
*Experience in secure programming and secure programming best practices.
*Understanding of PKI and cryptographic techniques
*Python programming experience
*Experience in test automation and development of software test systems
