IT Project Manager- Glasgow- 6 months
Harvey Nash's public sector client is recruiting for an IT Project Manager to work on corporate IT planning and prioritisation of activities, project managing projects / work packages as required.
You will establish and manage project risk management, issue and change control, configuration management, communication, and establish and manage project controls - monitoring and reporting. Other key duties will include advising project boards and identifying the technical resources required to undertake systems development projects.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of ICT Infrastructure and working as part of a Public Sector organisation.
Essential Skills:
* Proven experience of managing and delivering IT services and solutions to customers in a corporate or enterprise environment.
* Strong experience co-ordinating technical team tasks, able to recognise the various methods required to lead and motivate people to deliver within a project environment.
* Skilled in managing a range of IT suppliers.
* PRINCE2 Practitioner.
* Experience of leading IT network and infrastructure projects.
* Experience of managing and delivering IT services within a government security context.
