They also fund research to find better treatments, campaign for better stroke care and help people understand how to spot and prevent stroke. Position: Stroke Recovery Coordinator (2 roles)
Location: Isle of Man - Home Based
Job Type: Permanent (Their services are contracted, they currently have funding until 31 March 2022)
Hours: Part time, 20 per week
Salary: GBP12,798.38 - GBP15,534.13

About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following stroke.

They are looking for an innovative, passionate and professional individual with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to join their Stroke Recovery Service team in the Isle of Man.

The service aims to identify and address the needs of stroke survivors and carers across the stroke pathway, by providing a range of innovative support solutions, supporting them to meet their desired outcomes. A key part of the role will be to recruit, train and manage a team of volunteers, to support service users and the delivery of the service.

About you:

Applicants are likely to have a background in a caring profession ideally with experience of supporting people with disabilities.

Excellent IT skills, a flexible approach to your role, use of your own car and the ability to drive and eligibility to work in the Isle of Man are essential.
