Lecturer in Electrical Installation
Salary: Up to GBP32,804

Due to substantial growth in recruitment to the Electrical Installation provision, we are looking to recruit Lecturers in Electrical Installation with a passion for ensuring student achievement, to drive our continued success in providing a high quality teaching and learning experience, across a range programmes within the Division of Construction.
As a Lecturer, you will ensure that Electrical Installation contributes fully towards the excellent achievement and retention and the sustained growth of the Division. You will also work closely with all the Curriculum Managers and the Programme Leader in the Electrical craft area, across the full range of programmes delivered and assessed and to assist the section with its aspiration for improving quality and increasing success rates.
As a Lecturer you will teach, relevant to subject specialism, up to 832 hours per year.
Ideally you will already hold a PGCE or Certificate in Education and a relevant degree level qualification. You will also possess knowledge of current issues in Electrical Installation relating to the curriculum area. Preferably, you will also have knowledge of work based learning and full time/part time qualification specifications and experience of successful teaching up to Advanced level (including Work Based Learning) would be advantageous, but is not essential.
