As a national recruitment partner for one of the UK's leading names in the logistic industry, Driving Plus are looking to recruit experienced HGV Class 1 drivers working at their distribution centre based out of Bromford Gate, in Birmingham.
This fantastic opportunity will enable Driving Plus to give drivers an ongoing long term assignment, on either AM or PM shifts, working 5 out of 7 days per week with immediate starts following successful assessment. The work itself involves store deliveries - delivering totes/dollies/pallets/cages ensuring health and safety is followed at all time. Our client delivers throughout the UK and offers an excellent working environment. As a professional HGV Class 1 driver you will be paid competitive rates however, you will be required to have an excellent practical skills in driving C+E vehicles to the highest of standards.
The rates for HGV Class 1 Ltd Company Drivers are as follows:
* Monday to Friday Days - GBP12.75 per hour
* Monday to Friday Night - GBP13.50 per hour
* Saturday - GBP15.00 per hour
* Sunday - GBP17.00 per hour
Register and complete working 10 shifts to be able to receive GBP250 new starter bonus.
Only HGV category C+E drivers will qualify. A minimum of 12 months HGV driving experience is desirable. You must have no more than 6 penalty points for driving offences and no driving bans. References to cover the last 3 years will be required
