I am currently seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join a world-leading Pharmaceutical company at their site in Leeds.
The successful candidate will hold a level 3 engineering qualification and will have at least 5 years of experience working either in a Quality or Engineering function within pharmaceuticals or medical devices. A willingness to travel is essential for this role. An ISO9001 or ASQ certification would be considered an advantage, as would experience in SPC, ISO13485 and product validation.
As a successful Quality Engineer you will be given the platform to showcase your expertise as you conduct on-site quality and process assessments of suppliers, ensuring they are compliant and assessing their performance by generating Quality Metrics. There will also be the opportunity for you to utilise your skills and keen attention to detail in producing advanced quality planning documentation.
You will also have the opportunity to promote continuous improvement and support process excellence within the company's global supply chain, and will demonstrate your associated expertise as you represent Quality at supplier business review meetings.
Alongside this, you will be entrusted with designing and validating Quality System processes, as well as participating in design evaluations where appropriate.
As a successful candidate, you will complement your excellent communication skills with a pro-active and flexible approach to work. You will be customer focused and a real team player, with the ability to influence others. This will be a 12 month contract role initially and will be based in Leeds, Yorkshire.
Also commutable from Bradford, Wakefield, Huddersfield, and York.
