Our Sales Engineer will work closely with Client Services, Product Management, and Sales during the acquisition phase of new global customers. You will be responsible for detailed conversations on product functionality and integration as well as developing conceptual models and documentation for platform solutions in support of a customer's smooth transition from sales, through implementation.

We are a major provider of identity theft and fraud detection solutions and our technology platform is flexible and easily configurable, increasing the speed with which we can bring white-label services to existing and new B2B customers.

Person Requirements:

It's required that the Sales Engineer be extremely strong in communication, and presentation skills, both verbal and written. The optimal candidate should have a strong presence, and be able to think on their feet while meeting with prospective clients. The Sales Engineer will leverage an ability to quickly grasp new use cases, and acquire new platform knowledge through independent study, as well as interaction with other team members. The optimal candidate will be able to discuss technology through the language of business, know when to be more or less detailed, and evoke confidence in our solutions and technology to help remove any barriers a prospective client may raise.
  • Extensive experience with some time in a client facing technical role; Technical PM, Solution Architect, etc.
  • Experience participating in the sales cycle at a technology company as a technical resource preferred.
  • Strong sense of technology platforms, particularly in a SaaS environment.
  • Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree, or technical certification(s), preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills; equally comfortable speaking to business execs, or technology resources.
  • Able to think quickly, design on the fly.
  • Proven experience setting expectations of prospective clients, with varying levels of revenue potential.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities.
  • Highly organised and self-motivated.
  • Very detail oriented, and able to thrive in a high-growth, fast paced environment.

You will be part of a global expansion team here in the UK. The division is top of the industry in the US and we have started to begin to expand beyond the US market into other key regions. Many of our identity products are borderless and, when combined with our credit data, provide the foundation for a global product proposition for Experian.
