Senior PHP Developer
Rackheath, Norwich
Competitive Salary, dependant on experience
My client has a new opening for a Senior PHP Developer, based in Rackheath near Norwich.
Senior Developer reporting to IT Manager, able to work as part of a team, should be happy to work on individual tasks and projects as well as part of a team for larger projects. Good problem solving abilities and communication skills. Will need knowledge of Model based CMS systems (Magento preferred). Knowledge of Linux systems and Bash Scripting is also desirable.
- Good knowledge on PHP language
- Understanding of SQL Database (MySQL/Maria DB)
- 3 years experience working in a role working with PHP websites.
- Understanding of API (REST / JSON) and integration into existing platforms.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (CSS, Javascript, HTML)
- Understanding of Version control systems (Git,SVN)
- Experience working with Agile projects
Responsibilities
- Plugin Installation of Magento Plugins
- Resolving bugs and issues with current Magento Store
- PHP scripts and reports for automated tasks
- Providing Documentation on current and future plugins on Store
- Providing training for Junior Developers in PHP / Magento
