Our Client, located in 80 acres of idyllic setting of Pembrokeshire, West Wales, has an exciting opportunity for an individual to join its team as Head of Engineering and Estates.

About the Role

You are responsible for the management of engineering and estates teams making sure all of the rides and facilities are available for guests whilst meeting the highest standards of safety. You will plan, organise and coordinate engineering and maintenance activities and liaise with ride manufacturers. You will manage financial budgets for your departments; Procure and contract 3rd party services; be an active member of the Health and Safety Committee and ensure procedures are understood and practiced across departments; during the winter period you will lead the team and projects within your area of responsibility to deliver the statutory annual inspection.

About You

Experience of managing team with strong leadership skills; strong communication and organisation skills; have a great attitude, work ethic and passion to succeed; ability to remain calm and clear headed when under pressure; ability to read mechanical and electrical engineering drawings and OEM manuals; Good analytical and problem solving skills are essential.

The role requires you to work at heights on a regular basis and therefore you must confident in doing so. Full training will be given.

This is a hands-on role and therefore applicants must be in good physical health as the role will include physical activity on a regular basis such as lifting, carrying and general maintenance/manual work.

The role is permanent, averaging 40 hours per week and will include weekends, bank holidays as required and some late nights during July/August. A full driving license is essential.
