Senior Product Manager - Account and Information Services

As a Barclays Senior Product Manager within Account and Information Services,
you will support the growth of Transaction Banking revenues. You'll design, deliver and manage payables and receivables products, including the associated delivery channels. You will have ownership of the information reporting product suite, and develop capabilities in line with the changing payment formats, channels and types, to offer rich transaction reporting services to our clients across the spectrum of size and complexity.

As a Senior Product Manager, your main responsibilities will involve:
• Evaluating the current competitive environment for information products, in the context of wider payables and receivables products, and their interaction with channels
• Developing pricing, sales, and product strategies to grow revenue. Migrating customers away from paper instruments and increasing profitability for the product category
• Evaluating, planning, optimisation and delivery of product design enhancements, taking end-to-end responsibility for the quality of service that is delivered to customers across segments
• Ensuring effective product launches, guaranteeing all aspects are managed by the relevant specialist areas including marketing communications, training, systems and operations availability and contingency
• Responsibility for maintaining product scorecard including; profitability of product (including revenue targets), service and risk performance, sales volumes and complaints
• Owning the risk governance processes such as risk and control self-assessments (RCSA) etc. on the product category

As a Senior Product Manager, your skills and qualifications will include:
• Knowledge of society for worldwide interbank financial telecommunication (SWIFT) reports and other reporting products. Understanding of different reporting formats and delivery channels
• Familiarity with extensible mark-up language (XML) payment formats
• Experience with paper and electronic reporting and with intraday and end of day reports will be advantageous
• Strategic thinking/thought leadership especially in the context of evolving reporting products in line with change in other payment types
• The ability to effectively manage costs, which will be done through the reduction of paper reports and increasing electronic reporting
• Excellent planning and organisation skills to execute on end-to-end product management responsibilities
