Technical Author - Contract

Our award-winning technology client is looking for an experienced contract technical author to produce a range of technical content (installation, system administration, help and troubleshooting guides) to support the next generation of their pioneering technologies. These technologies ensure that the Internet of Things (IoT) can be connected with no compromise on quality, security or privacy.

You'll have a proactive approach and a real appetite and enthusiasm for learning cutting edge technology and developing new skills. This is an initial 12 month contract.

What's needed?

  • Solid experience as a technical author within a software development environment.
  • Experience in one or more of the following would be ideal: Embedded operating systems; server technology, Smartcard/SIM technology; security; Linux distributions.
  • Experience with one or more of the following: User experience (UX), User Interfaces (UI), Integrated Development Environments (IDE); C; JavaScript; HTML; XML; XSLT; JavaDoc; Doxygen or a similar tool.
  • An interest in, and the ability to learn, technically complex software.
  • Experience gathering information from developers and engineers.
