Project Manager - Business Change - Edinburgh

Location: Edinburgh

Rate: up to GBP360 per day

Duration: 6 months + extensions

Start: ASAP, immediately available candidates preferred

Role:

Opportunity to join one of the leading Financial Services organisations in Edinburgh to work as a contract Project Manager within their Insurance Business. The area you will work in is large, complex and fast paced and very high profile for the client. You should therefore not only be an experienced PM and have exceptional communication skills, but you should also have the below experience detailed on your CV before applying so that we can get them applications ASAP.

Experience required:

Must have at least 5+ years of Project Management experience (ideally project management certification)

Must have experience working in a Financial Services, Banking, Pensions, Investments or Insurance client within the last 5 years

Must have Business Change Project experience, rather than IT

You should ideally have regulatory project experience

You should ideally have Insurance or Life & Pensions project experience

Experienced managing risks and issues

Experienced project planning and scoping

Experienced reporting to senior management and escalating where appropriate

Experience liaising with and building relationships with senior stakeholders and third parties

Exceptional communication skills are mandatory
