Acorn Recruitment is seeking Maintenance Technicians (electrical or mechanical) to join the maintenance team working for a fast paced, global manufacturing business in Bristol. This is due to continued growth and brand development.
Salary - GBP32,000 to GBP37,000pa
Responsibilities:
*Overhaul and repair of machines
*Work with other departments to improve performance and achieve objectives
*Implement planned and preventative maintenance schedules
*Safe working of all plant and equipment
*Troubleshooting and fault finding on production equipment
*Identify and implement process improvement opportunities
The successful candidate will have:
*Experience of working pneumatic & hydraulic systems
*Fault finding, repairs and installation work
*Working with and fault finding on PLC controlled systems
*Experience in computer systems within a production environment
*Experience of using drawing, manuals and circuit diagrams as appropriate
*Ability to organise and prioritise own workload around production requirements
*HNC or equivalent in an Electrical/Mechanical engineering discipline
The successful candidate will be required to work shifts (currently a 3 shifts pattern Monday - Fri (7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm and 11pm-7am).
