I am currently recruiting a Supply Chain Planner to join an industry leading consumer business based in Salisbury. The Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for all forecasting and stock management for the business.

The client are a leading consumer business catering to all areas of the market place. They are a rapidly growing business based in Salisbury.
Description
The Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for the following:
Forecasting and owning the execution of the demand planning process.
Continuous improvement on all supply chain related activity
Supplier management
Provide technical support to the Planning Manager to configure, maintain and operate the MRP system, such that stock orders are placed in a timely fashion to maintain supply whilst minimising on hand stock
Provide detailed and complex analytical support across the supply chain
Inventory management
Stock analysis
Profile
The desired candidate must have a proven track record in demand planning and be familiar with using an MRP system. Competency in using Excel is also required.
The Supply Chain Planner will liaise heavily with cross functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the business therefore you must demonstrate excellent communication skills. You'll also need the ability to influence at all levels.
Leading the forecasting function will also mean delving deep into complex data and performing root cause analysis. You must have an analytical mindset and demonstrate a high level of numeracy.
