Location: Milton Keynes
Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Salary: GBP33,500 - GBP39,000 per annum

Milton Keynes College have a new opportunity for a Deputy Head of School to work collaboratively as an inspirational leader within Active Industries, which includes both Further Education, Higher Education and Apprenticeship programmes in Public Services, Sport Science, The Football Academy and The Leadership Academy.
We are seeking an experience manager, who would flourish in our active industries department as a Deputy Head of School.
This is an exciting opportunity for an expert in active industries to develop engaging and creative programmes of study at all levels, including Level 4 and above.
We are looking for colleagues who show a real passion and understanding for Active Industries, with the clear vision that students are at the very heart of everything we do.

As a successful candidate, you will have???
- Proven track record of successful people management in an FE or Learning environment including the effective management of underperformance
- An understanding of the development of a comprehensive, detailed and responsive FE & HE curriculum and innovative learning experiences
- Good analytical skills with proven ability to use management information to identify issues and opportunities to drive quality and performance
- A track record of managing and implementing a range of quality processes and systems within an FE environment
- Strong course leadership that delivers multiple and diverse teaching methods, which provide high quality success outcomes
- Experienced observer of classroom and workplace teaching and learning assessments and IQA with experience of writing detailed reports and support plans
