I am seeking a Personal Care Assistant with a bright, sparkling personality who is available every other week (Thurs-Thurs) to assist with all aspects of my busy, varied and interesting life.

You need to be self-motivated, enthusiastic and someone who has a sense of fun but knows when a professional touch is needed. Some personal care is involved but you do not need to be an expert just someone who is willing to learn.

You will need to live-in, be able to drive and be fully committed for the week you are working. No experience or qualifications are needed, but you need to be reliable, physically fit and want to be part of a great team. This is a perfect job for someone interested in care work and looking for a job with a difference!

This is a physically demanding role as you will be required to assist with mobility issues which will involve manual handling.

I work on a full-time basis and as my PA you will also need to support me with some administration duties as well as driving or assisting me to travel to different locations throughout the country to attend meetings etc. This may also entail some overnight stays in hotels.

About Me

I am good humoured and a positive person who leads an active and full life. A glass half full type of person!

I have been a PA employer for over 20 years and made some great friends from the people I have had the pleasure of knowing as my PA. I consider myself to be a fair employer who treats people with respect and appreciates the support they provide to enable me to live my life and the craziness that it throws at me sometimes.

I like to have fun and enjoy spending time with friends and family. I love sunshine and holidays and when not planning my next holiday, I like spending time with my dogs who always make me smile even when the sun isn't shinning.

I work full time for a large charity as a Disability Advocacy Adviser in the field of disability, equality and inclusion. This means that I often travel for my work and regularly attend meetings and networking events in London and other parts of the country. Meeting new and interesting people keeps my life exciting.
