The firm covers both Advisory Services and Principal Finance activities:
- Advisory: Asset Management Advisory, Financial Management and Servicing, Transaction Advisory, Technical Advisory and Capital Markets Advisory.
- Principal Finance: Non-core, Performing and Non-Performing Loan Acquisitions, Mid-market Lending in the UK and Europe, Special Situations Lending and Private Equity Strategies.
Job description
- Performance of duties typically associated with Primary Servicing & Special Servicing of commercial real estate loans with emphasis on the loan closing process and post-closing completion of the on-boarding requirements (including liaising directly with clients, loan operations team and third parties, and reviewing underlying loan documentation, underwriting model etc.)
- Day to day pro-active maintenance and administration of loans (including issuing payment advices, hello/goodbye letters, remittance reports and redemption statements etc.)
- Monitoring of transactions (including reviewing property reports, compliance certificates, conditions subsequent and financial & information undertakings etc.)
- Reconciliation of bank accounts and all outstanding amounts
- Periodic analysis, interpretation and presentation of data in preferred formats for external reporting purposes to clients or otherwise
- Setup and manage alerts for actionable dates e.g. annual insurance renewals, covenant submissions, annual audited financial statements, property inspections etc.
- Manage and monitor any applicable Standing Orders, Direct Debits, BACS and CHAPS payments
- Responsible for developing new and appropriate performance metrics to analyse loan performance and monitor risks
- Receive and process requests for notices, waivers, amendments and consents
- Monitoring of transaction level Business Plans
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly Investor & Performance Reports
- Assist in the development of proprietary technology system with recommendations for enhancements with recommendations for enhancements
Candidate requirements:
- The candidate should have at least 2 years' industry experience covering CRE Loan Servicing at a wellestablished financial institution or Servicing house. Conversely, strong commercial real estate experience with analytical, underwriting and/or structuring will be considered favourably.
- Successfully graduated from a higher education institution (with at least a Bachelor's degree).
- The candidate must be thorough in their approach with a high attention to detail, must have a high appetite for work and not be averse to working in a pressurised environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel is a requirement and may be tested during the interview process.
