Care Worker / Emergency Response Assistants – Southampton

Circa £19,500+ per annum, Drivers AND walkers, 45p per mile, PAID training

We are a premier domiciliary care company based in Southampton looking for enthusiastic home carers to join our ever-growing team, on a full time or part time shift basis, where walkers and drivers are BOTH welcome. We offer shift work 7am-2pm or 2pm-9pm OR both, you can do as many or as little of these shifts as you like to make up your desired hours.

We also have an excellent opportunity for the suitable candidate willing to learn, progress and achieve in their career joining our ‘Emergency Response Care Assistant’ team where experience and a driver’s license/own transport is preferred.

The Role 
At Enthuse Care we make it possible for people who need care or support to maintain independence in the comfort of their own home. You will support our clients with everyday tasks such as getting into and out of bed, washing, bathing and dressing, preparing food, prompting medication, home help and running errands such as shopping and cleaning and most importantly providing companionship. Each visit typically lasts 30 minutes to a few hours and your rota will consist of a round – a cluster of clients in order to maintain an enjoyable working day without the hustle of travel.

The emergency response care assistant would be a little more flexible with travel as would need to be able to pick up calls at last minute. Other tasks for the ‘ECA’ would be Assessments of new clients including emergency care plans, Office administration and answering telephone, Call Rostering and client reviews.

Pay 
We offer excellent remuneration package equivalent to £9.25 per hour including paid holiday, pension PLUS 45p per mile for drivers on top of that.

A chance to earn more through progression- Senior Carers £9.50ph and Supervisors £9.75ph. 
We also offer contracted hours once probation is completed. 
Holiday pay, Statutory sick and maternity pay. 
Annual Bonus based on hours worked.

Emergency Care Assistants - Earn circa £24,000 pa Pro Rata based on a full time 8 shift week rota (4 on 3 off) You will be paid for the WHOLE shift! 

Training 
No experience is needed as a FULLY funded bespoke training scheme is provided. 
We work in partnership with Eastleigh College who will encourage and support you to achieve your QCF Level 2,3+ in Health and Social Care. Throughout employment you will also complete a variety of VRQ short courses enabling you to constantly develop your skills as part of your Continuing Professional Development. Internal progression is pushed and encouraged. If becoming a nurse is your ambition, we hold the gateway to the most convenient and enjoyable way of doing so! Train to become a ‘Nursing Associate/ Assistant Practitioner’ with us, the only way to skip Student fees as University and earn whilst you learn.
