Senior Fund Finance Manager (Real Estate - Limited Accounting - Very T

The firm has a multi-billion dollar portfolio across Europe and are considered one of the premium players within European Real Estate.

The role sits in a very commercial team that covers portfolio management, wider fund operations, projects, asset raising, fund launches, and investor reporting. This is a leadership role and you will be taking a lead role in high profile projects including the launch of a new open-ended fund. This will be a management position and you will be expected to hire and manage junior staff

One of the interesting and exciting elements of the role will also be highly analytical and modelling responsibilities in support of the investment team. This may be something you are already doing and wish to continue in a more senior capacity or it may be something you would ideally like to start gaining exposure to.

This person is also going to take a leading role in the launch of a new fund from start to finish including the asset raising process, investor relations, fund structuring, fund launch, and acquisitions and disposals. You will be working alongside the Partners within the investment team on a daily basis. You will also be expected to source financing from lenders. This will involve developing relationships with the different lenders in the market and understanding what a good deal looks like and be responsible for the negotiation of those deals.

The vacancy exists because the incumbent moved to an Investment position. If you are currently an Accountant that would like to do less accounting and move closer to an Investment role then this is probably one of the most interesting opportunities available to you.

They are ideally looking for a fund accountant that has experience of working in real estate or private equity. They are looking for somebody with strong academics who sees themselves in a more commercial and deal orientated position. The personality and ambitions of the individual will probably be the most important characteristics they will look for as they will provide a platform for development and success. Requirements

• Strong academic profile (2.1 or above)
• Qualified Accountant
• 4-8 years PQE working in private equity or real estate
• Strong commercial acumen
• Excellent communicator
• Advanced Excel/Modelling skills
• Ambitious and dynamic personality
