Our Client, a Prestige Franchise Approved Main Car Dealership in the Cheltenham area is currently looking to hire a fully qualified and experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic for their busy Automotive Service Department!
JOB SPECIFICATION:
As a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic your main duties will include carrying out fault diagnosis, service, and repair as instructed to the standards laid down by the manufacturer and Our Client. Vehicle Technicians / Mechanics need to ensure faults are accurately diagnosed and report to the Workshop Controller as required on vehicle condition, safety, reliability and performance. You will need to ensure that quality procedures relating to the function laid down by Our Client and manufacturer are adhered to at all times.
APPLICANT SPECIFICATION:
You will need to be a fully qualified Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent as a minimum with at least two years technical experience post-qualification. You will need to hold a UK driving licence with minimal points, be a committed individual and a good team player. You must be able to produce a high quality of work as you will be working with some of the most expensive and valuable cars on the market and be motivated to work towards targets set for your team. Applicants with an active MOT Smart Card would be very advantageous to our client but it is non-essential.
PACKAGE DETAILS:
For your hard work our client is offering:
- Starting salary of between GBP24-29,500 per annum pending experience.
- Bonus scheme with on target earnings of GBP32,000 per annum
- 22 days holiday plus the bank holidays.
- Workplace pension scheme.
- Fantastic career prospects with a prestige brand working with some of the most desireable cars on the market.
The hours worked are 8:00AM-5:00PM Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings on a rota.
