My client is a proven market leader who is looking for an experienced Accounting and Reporting Manager to provide accurate and timely understanding of the cash performance and to create a culture of more accurate cash forecasting lead by the commercial and operational leaders in the business. This team will liaise with Group Finance to ensure our cash requirements are understood and make sure that demands are satisfied. This team will also provide great financial control and compliance across our balance sheet and central costs focus and analysis to ensure we are delivering to the expectations set by my client's board across all head office costs.

Key responsibilities are:-

• Delivery end-to-end cash budgeting & forecasting
• Liaise with Group Treasury team for cash highs & lows
• Own the balance sheet controls process
• Create a culture of cash understanding and ownership throughout the business
• Central costs focus and analysis

You will be

• Qualified Finance Professional (ideally 5yrs+ PQE)
• Drivers of business performance and the levers available to impact performance
• Strong Excel and numerical skills
• Ability to operate and influence effectively at board level
• Assertive, challenging and confident with strong inter-personal skills
• Experience of working with and presenting analytical results to Non-Finance users
• Sound coaching and team leadership and development skills
• Track record of value creation
• Understand the principles of the Deloitte's Four Faces of Finance model
