Financial Reporting & Controls Accountant West Midlands GBP40-45,000

The Wolverhampton office is home to the UK group management for the UK business of c GBP200mil turnover. The Finance team enjoy a relaxed and jovial spirit, and one where everyone mucks in where required. A brand new role has been created in light of the need to introduce robust controls around financial reporting and data management.
The new Financial Reporting & Controls Accountant will
- develop and implement a best practice internal control framework, covering financial, system and data management controls.
- support the numerous acquisitions ongoing
- standardising reporting and controls, generating processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- step in and help with financial accounts in busy periods
We are looking to hire:
- A qualified ACCA or ACA accountant
- You are likely to be from an audit and accountancy practice
- You need to be self-sufficient and confident owning something completely
- As a business facing role, you need to be comfortable out in the business dealing with all colleagues and external parties too
