Recycling Plant Operative

Cornwall staff agency are currently recruiting for the role of Recycling Plant Operatives for our client based in near St Austell, Cornwall. This is an ongoing position working full time hours Monday to Friday 7am till 5pm with some weekend working. Working as a Recycling Plant Operative, you would be working as part of a team, processing recyclable material on behalf of our client at their busy site. You will be required to fully comply with all Health and Safety instructions. RESPONSIBILITIES: -Sortation of recyclable materials on a picking line or in other areas of the client site. -Cleaning and basic maintenance as required by the Team Leader. - Opening and closing bay doors to allow vehicles to be loaded, keeping an eye on the plant cameras watching for issues and blockages and altering static plant controls to maximise recovery and separation. Previous experience is desired but not essential, as additional training and accreditations can be provided.
