We are looking for an exceptional Resident Involvement Officer to join us on a permanent full time basis.

As a key member of our team you'll be accountable to the Resident Involvement and Scrutiny Manager and Housing teams to promote, coordinate, facilitate and deliver Resident Involvement activities.

We'll look to you to train, motivate and support members of our Housing teams in the delivery of RI at a local and neighbourhood level as well as expecting you to act as the primary point of contact for resident's enquiries about RI opportunities, training, funding and administration. You'll be required to analyse and manage the training needs of involved customers, delivering and sourcing training to them as required.

Your initial priorities will include:

  • Ensuring all Clarion teams, especially Housing, are aware of the Clarion RI strategy, and the roles, responsibilities policies and processes for delivering it
  • Ensuring residents understand their opportunities to become involved in the RI structures and that communication with them is seamless
  • Setting up and managing robust processes for all activities, ensuring they are consistent between regions to allow easy collation and reporting

You'll already have highly developed communication and organisation skills and be educated to a good level. Ideally, you will have a background of delivering training events to internal teams or customers as well.

Experience in the Resident Involvement, Community Development or Housing sectors will be a distinct advantage, and an ability to be flexible in your approach to work will be critical for your success in this role.

Your duties will include:

  • Maintaining accurate data for involved residents, reporting as required
  • Liaising with Regional Business Support teams to ensure administrative tasks are efficiently managed for residents and are cost effective for Clarion. .
  • Contributing to the development of a range of Resident Involvement techniques, including online tools, to ensure that customers have a choice of channel for their involvement.
  • Assist with the organising and delivery of resident engagement days / conferences
