Are you a high calibre STEM subject - Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths - graduate who would jump at the chance to join an amazing school as a teaching assistant?
The school hopes to attract multi - disciplined graduates who have attained good A levels in these core subject areas and gone on to successful tertiary degree courses. You will have a 1st or 2.1 degree and you will have the comprehension and the patience to relay your passion for these subjects to school aged pupils.

This school is part of a national pilot scheme to develop pupils in STEM subject's areas. As part of this scheme a small group of 12 pupils will be talking a GCSE in Engineering and a further 5 are taking an AQA Certificate of Engineering. Once you are inducted and comfortable with in the day to day role of a teaching assistant you will be expected to contribute to these pilot schemes.

The school is a fantastic facility and the science labs are top of the range. The maths, science and technology departments are share a building and the teaching staff are well versed in the demands of integrating the subject areas.
