Adjacency are recruiting for a Corporate Partnerships Specialist to join an organisation that sits at the heart of the community, the role is a newly formed post that will see you build Fundraising and partnerships from scratch, allowing you full ownership of the role.

The role will be responsible for developing corporate relationships through attending networking events, educating potential sponsors about the charity and be part of a wider team to drive forward charity awareness.

You will work closely with the Fundraising Manager to identify, develop and present opportunities to develop and expand activities in line with income generation. You will be responsible for carrying out your own research to outline target organisations that will support with the formulation of ongoing plans for sponsorship and ensure continued engagement.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is driven to achieve targets, create lasting relationships and become a recognisable face within business in Gloucestershire.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about sales in a charity environment whilst also thinking strategically about wider business plans.

Ideally you will have:

  • 3 year's experience in Fundraising and partnerships with a knowledge of cultural and/or sports sectors
  • Demonstrable results in driving forward income revenues
  • Experience of presenting to potential partners and educating
  • Good knowledge of key company targets and decision makers from the local area
  • The ability to work independently and also as part of a wider team
  • The drive and tenacity to develop business, secure meetings and ultimately sponsorship
  • Good communication skills; both written and oral
