Location: Plymouth
Hours: 27.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Contract type: Permanent
Salary: GBP 18,805 per annum pro rata

About the role

We have a unique opportunity for a Solutions Coordinator to join our Retail Commercial Development office in Plymouth.

The post holder will be responsible for the co-ordination of any changes to the retail estate and its assets, including procedural changes and accurate record keeping of such events. They will also be responsible for the co-ordination of equipment into new shops, including telephone lines, broadband and tills, and will be the first point of contact in this process.

In addition to this, the Solutions Coordinator will support the gift aid, loyalty and EPoS teams during busy periods.

About the team
The Retail Department, which forms part of the Fundraising Division, operates around 330 Red Cross charity shops throughout the UK and has a complement of over 6,500 volunteers and 700 paid staff and a turnover circa GBP 30m per annum.

The Commercial Development department is responsible for developing EPoS systems which encompasses Gift Aid and the Red Cross Loyalty Card and supports retail field staff with management information as well as equipment for the new shops and the supply of corporate donations and warehousing.

About the person
The successful candidate will have previous experience of working in an administrative role, and will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external contacts.

We are particularly keen in hearing from candidates who can demonstrate the below skills and experience:

  • Qualified to GCSE standard or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Powerpoin
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
