Purpose of Role

To support the Service Catalogue Analyst to assure and significantly improve service catalogue management performance.


Key Accountabilities

The key accountabilities reflect the scale and scope as outlined in the purpose of this role: You will be expected to:

support the review and progress of any issues raised or weaknesses identified with respect to service catalogue management.
help make recommendations to improve service catalogue management process.
implement changes to the service catalogue.


Job Responsibilities

You will
Work with specific business communities to support investigations and quality checks on any issues raised or weaknesses identified with respect to service catalogue management.
Conduct audits to ensure that all the information within the service catalogue is accurate, up-to-date, adequately protected and available.
Analyse the findings of service catalogue management investigations and quality checks and make recommendations.
Review service catalogue management processes and help support the implementation of a MoJ-wide service catalogue.
Work with all teams across Service Management to support the service catalogue management function.
For specific business communities, where opportunities arise explain the importance of a comprehensive service catalogue management process.
As required, support the analysis of key supplier service catalogue management performance.

Dimensions

Scope & Complexity
Specialist role to ensure MoJ delivered systems and applications are robust and capable of meeting key service requirements by assuring best practice in service catalogue management in the supplier community.
Works with the Service Operations team and the supplier community to assure service catalogue management best practice and to help implement improvements with respect to service catalogue management.
Works with the Service Operations team and the Key business stakeholders to help review issues raised and analyse overall delivery against service targets.
Understanding of the current MoJ ICT landscape (including technology, contracts, legacy systems etc), in order to inform and improve future ICT service management of catalogue.
Requires good information acquisition and organisational awareness coupled with technical skills to communicate service management assurance approach.
