Production/ Logistics Administrator:

The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ordering goods and services and arranging transportation for manufactured products to achieve on-time deliveries.  They will be based at Stoke-on-Trent and their duties will include: 

•    Day to day control of inventory stock items, including monitoring stock  against set and agreed levels and re-ordering parts which have reached minimum reorder levels
•    Scheduling deliveries with suppliers to ensure items are delivered on time for manufacturing
•    Reviewing stock levels in line with customer demands to ensure inventory levels are aligned with budgets and customer requirements
•    Raising purchase orders, as required
•    Arranging transportation of products to customers, suppliers and other Cubis sites
•    Communicating with customers, suppliers and colleagues at other Cubis sites to update on progress and expected delivery dates
•    Conducting stock inventory audits to ensure accurate levels are maintained

The Applicant:

Candidates will have experience of working in a similar role within a fast paced manufacturing environment and will possess the following skills and competencies:
•    A good standard of basic education with English and Mathematics Grade C or above at GCSE level, or equivalent
•    An in-depth knowledge of general manufacturing processes
•    A willingness to travel across all sites is essential and candidates must be technically advanced, fully proficient in MS Office and will have previous experience of using an ERP/MRP system
•    Candidates who are mathematically and statistically inclined, and are able to demonstrate keen problem solving skills and an understanding of business operations, will be preferred
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential and the successful candidate will also be able to manage complexity, be action oriented, resilient and resourceful
