JOB TITLE: Marketing and Events Manager

creation of this Marketing and Events Manager role is evidence that growth and investment is continuing.
THE ROLE: The role of the Marketing and Events Manager has been created due to the growth of the business. Reporting directly to the Managing Director this is a senior position where you will be taking control of all elements of marketing and events management within the UK business.
This will provide you with an exceptional opportunity to achieve and develop within a dynamic,
fast-moving business. Responsible for the creation and implementation of the marketing and
events plan, you will work closely with the Sales team, customers and other stakeholders to
provide an integrated, relevant strategy to attain sustainable growth. You will also manage
the development of the website as well as liaise with and contribute to the global marketing
team.
As part of the events aspect of the role you may be required to travel on occasions.
THE CANDIDATE: With at least three years' relevant marketing and events management experience, you must be able to demonstrate a record of achievement through the application of professional marketing principles and standards. The ability to work effectively within a team combined with the capacity to use your own initiative are essential as are outstanding organisational skills.
Based at the head office in Rushden this role would suit either a candidate with senior level experience or a candidate with proven experience in marketing and events that may be looking for their first senior role.
The ability to work independently is crucial. Formal qualifications in marketing / Events management are by no means essential but may support your application.
Experience within a technical industry or sector is not essential but would be desirable.
Key experience essential for the Marketing and Events Manager role:
A minimum of 3 years marketing and events management experience
