Salary: £18,000 per annum following a successful 6 months probationary period

 

Permanent - 37.5 hours per week

 

A leading supported housing provider has a great opportunity for a Trainee Bid Writer which will be based in Bury. You will play a key role in securing restricted/contracted revenue bids across local and national markets to enable the Association to achieve its mission by ensuring appropriate contracting opportunities are identified in a timely manner, collecting data for inclusion in tender submissions and constructing well-structured responses to PQQ and tender documents.

 

To be successful in this role as a Trainee Bid Writer you will have strong technical writing and organisational skills and an eye for detail with meticulous proof-reading and communication skills. You will have the ability to work to strict deadlines and to manage complex submissions requiring a wide range of work streams coupled with the knowledge of the supported housing sector or other social care sector. Some experience of the bid writing process from the identification of an opportunity through to project delivery and of writing successful tender submissions for complex services opportunities would be valuable.
