Asset Management Data Analyst - Reading -
What is the purpose of this role?
We are currently seeking an asset management data analyst within the work and asset information team. Working across the water and wastewater business units, this proactive role will be responsible for understanding the asset data in SAP PM and GIS, the quality of the data and how it can be utilised to make business decisions.
You will take ownership of the asset and maintenance plan update process engaging with various teams and stakeholders to ensure they understand the data they are suppling to the team. You will also need to be proactive in engaging with these teams to identify where we are missing data or receiving incorrect data and ensuring maintenance of data quality through rigorous change management.
What makes this role unique?
You will work with a range of teams and business units within the wholesale business, including our alliance partners. You will also take ownership of the quality of the asset and work data within the system. Proactive data quality monitoring and an ongoing program identifying improvements that needs to be made will also be part of the role.
What will this role involve?
Updating work and asset data within SAP PM, engaging with key business stakeholders to ensure the quality of data provided. Providing support to allow data providers to understand the importance of the data supplied.
Building strong business relationships through networking and to be recognised as an expert in the asset and maintenance plan data.
Working within the data governance framework for SAP PM Asset and work data, identify improvements to increase efficiency in data and information handling.
What skills are we looking for?
We are seeking a SAP PM Analyst, with strong organisational skills and high attention to detail, who can utilise their initiative and analytical skills.
You will have a solid SAP PM Asset Maintenance or other CMMS background.
Do you have experience handling and analysing large volumes of data? Have you got the abilities to identify and deliver improvement recommendations?
It would be an advantage if you have an understanding of asset life cycle with an appreciation of technical maintenance required to keep assets operational.
You will have a relevant scientific or engineering qualification: degree with experience in a related role or HNC/D or equivalent with experience proving your technical aptitude.

We are looking for someone with proven experience working to tight deadlines, responding to changing requirements.
Due to regular travel, you will need a valid UK driving licence.

This role is based in Reading with regular travel. We are offering a salary of up to GBP34,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
