General Accounts Clerk - Fixed Term Maternity Cover

Hours: 25 hours per week

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic General Accounts Clerk to join Autism East Midlands, a leading charity based at Creswell near Worksop. Whilst experience of using a Sage finance package would be beneficial, we value more highly the ability to work accurately to a strict timetable and the desire to provide the best levels of support to colleagues.

Part Time: 25 hours per week
Salary: £10,810 per annum

The role will provide support to a small finance team so duties will include:

  • Processing of Petty Cash returns
  • Purchase Ledger invoice processing
  • Purchase Ledger supplier reconciliation
  • Raising of Sales Invoices
  • Assistance with Credit Control
  • Other ad hoc duties

Essential Characteristics required

  • Highly numerate
  • Competency in use of spreadsheets
  • Possess a positive ‘can-do' attitude
  • Excellent data-input and keyboard skills
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to working
  • Self-motivated
